1. Consultation

We chat about your hair goals, current color, and budget. I’ll determine how many rows you need and whether we need a color appointment first.

2. Color prep

If your natural hair needs dimension or brightening, we’ll refresh your color so your extensions blend seamlessly from day one.

3. Install day

Your IBE® extensions are installed, custom-cut, and styled so they match your natural texture perfectly.

4. At-home care

I’ll walk you through products, brushing, and styling so your extensions stay healthy and beautiful between visits.

5. Move-ups

Typically every 6–10 weeks depending on your hair growth. We’ll move your rows up and refresh the blend.

6. Touch-up color

As your natural hair grows in, we’ll refresh your color so your extensions continue to blend seamlessly — keeping that lived-in look fresh.

The hair itself can last several months with proper care. The install needs to be maintained every 6–10 weeks, depending on your hair growth and how well you follow aftercare.

When installed and maintained properly, IBE® is designed to minimize tension and protect your natural hair. Proper placement, at-home care, and regular maintenance appointments help keep your scalp and hair healthy.

Yes — IBE® extensions are placed so you can wear ponytails and half-up styles without exposing beads. Your rows are customized to your head shape and styling preferences.

Sometimes! If your current color doesn’t match the extension hair we’d order, we’ll plan a color appointment first so your natural hair blends seamlessly with your extensions.

Brush out tangles before getting your hair wet. When shampooing, focus on your scalp and gently lift each row so you can cleanse underneath without pulling. Use a sulfate-free shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Apply conditioner only to the mid-lengths and ends, keeping it away from the roots and rows. After rinsing, gently squeeze out excess water and always blow-dry the bases fully to keep your extensions secure and healthy.
